At 16 years old, Ashley Caldwell was the youngest member of the 2010 US Olympic Team for all sports. Ashley placed 10th in the Olympic Women's Aerials along with Lacey Schnoor 9th and Emily Cook 11th. Ashley was the 2010 FIS Freestyle "Rookie of the Year", won 2 Nor-Am Events, a Silver Medal in the 2009 Nor-Am Grand Prix and has placed 10th, 11th and 13th in her first three FIS World Cup competitions. She was named as one of the top 20 skiers in the World 18 and under by Powder Magazine.
Ashley won her 1st World Cup at her "home" hill in Lake Placid NY on January 21, 2011. She came from behind to outscore #1- XU Mengtao of China and #10- Alla TSUPER for the Gold. In 2011. Ashley also won Silver in Minsk and was 4th at the 2011 World Championships in Deer Valley.
She placed 1st in 2 Norams in Mont Gabriel and 10th in the Mont Gabriel World Cup.
